Bougiekabelset
Carpartsdirect.nl verkoopt zowel een bougiekabelset als losse bougiekabels. Bougiekabels moeten bijvoorbeeld bestand zijn tegen ‘doorslaan’ en hoge spanningsverschillen kunnen weerstaan. Daarnaast moet de lengte van de kabels precies overeenkomen met OE-specificaties om de juiste weerstand te genereren. Bovendien wordt de materiaalkeuze van de kabels steeds belangrijker. Niet alleen het binnenwerk, maar ook de buitenkant moet aan strenge eisen voldoen om de juiste ontstekingsspanning te kunnen garanderen of de temperatuur onder de motorkap te weerstaan.
Naast de materiaalsamenstelling van de kabels wordt ook het ontwerp van de bougiedop steeds belangrijker. Denk daarbij aan het monteren van de speciaal gevormde bougiedoppen die diep in de cilinderkop gemonteerd moeten worden in het geval van meerklepstechniek.
Bougiekabels zorgen voor transport van de vonk. De bobine geeft via de stroomverdeler en deze kabel de vonk door aan de bougie. De ontstekingsmodule zorgt ervoor dat de aansturing juist is.
