Bobine
Een bobine is een transformator die met name gebruikt wordt in het ontstekingssysteem van een verbrandingsmotor. De bobine heeft als taak om de hoogspanning te leveren die nodig is om een bougie een vonk te laten genereren. Een bougie is een ander onderdeel van het ontstekingssysteem van een motor. De bobine heeft dus de taak om de laagspanning van het elektrische systeem om te zetten in een geschikte hoogspanning.
